Nevada offers IECMHC through the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS), but not as a coordinated statewide effort. Southern Nevada has an active program. Northern Nevada has very limited services, mostly for Tribal Head Start programs.

- Eligibility
Southern Nevada: early childhood programs that serve children from birth until they enter kindergarten, including licensed early care and education centers. Programs qualify whatever their subsidy status.
Northern Nevada: services are very limited and mostly serve Tribal Head Start programs.
- Geographic reach
Southern Nevada (Clark County) has active services, including in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City. Northern Nevada (Washoe County and the Reno area) has very little capacity. Services there focus mostly on Tribal Head Start programs.
- How to request consultation
The early care and education center or provider sends the referral. It must include a parent or caregiver signature and the reason for the request. In Southern Nevada, email the referral to childcareconsultation@dcfs.nv.gov.
- Funding
The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) pays for most of the program. State general funds cover the rest.
