Georgia
Georgia runs a small pilot IECMHC program through the Department of Early Care and Learning. The pilot works only in the Macon and Savannah regions. It serves a few child care centers, in person and by telehealth. Statewide, the SEEDS program refers programs to Pyramid Model coaching, positive behavior support, triage, and resource connection. SEEDS doesn't offer formal mental health consultation. Georgia Head Start programs also offer IECMHC.

Licensed child care centers.
- Geographic reach
Services reach only the Savannah and Macon area. Georgia has no coordinated statewide consultation effort.
- How to request consultation
- Call the SEEDS hotline: 1-833-354-HELP.
- Trained SEEDS staff triage the call and decide if mental health consultation is needed.
- If it's needed and there's a consultant in your region (Macon and Savannah only), they pass the call to regional consultants.
- If there's no consultant in your area, SEEDS staff offer resources, connections to Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) providers, and light-touch support using the Prevent-Teach-Reinforce model of individualized positive behavior support.
- Funding
Mostly funded by the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF).
