Brandy Fox of the Pennsylvania Key told the story of Pennsylvania's statewide program, now in its 20th year. It began in 2006 as a pilot with 3.5 consultants and has grown to a team of 34, funded mostly through CCDF. Bringing every consultant under one employer saved enough to hire about 7 more and gave programs a single place to ask for help. Her advice for leaders: start with classroom and program consultation rather than child-specific cases, collect data the same way from day one, and hire for a reflective way of being.
