NEW – Practical Certificate in IECMH Consultation

Become a qualified Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant with our new Practical Certificate in IECMHC. Modeled on the national competencies of IECMHC , built and taught by the team that wrote them. The certificate is a 4-month online program that prepares mental health professionals and early childhood educators to deliver competent, day-one-ready consultation in Head Start, child care, home visiting, and other early childhood settings.

Mental Health Pathway

For mental health clinicians looking to add the consultation skillset. First, learn the ins and outs of early childhood settings, roles, and routines so you can consult with credibility from your first visit, even if you have never set foot in a classroom. Then, learn the competencies of effective consultation.

ECE Pathway

For early childhood teachers and directors. First, gain foundational knowledge in attachment, trauma, child mental health, and clinical observation to understand the behavioral and emotional underpinnings of what you are seeing. Then, learn the competencies of effective consultation.
