In this module you will learn about the importance of working with your program’s staff, families and community partners to develop a program-wide mental health vision. You will be introduced to the concept of a “mental health perspective” — a way of seeing mental health as part of everything that your program does.

Learning Objectives

After completing this module, you will be able to:

  • Describe why having a shared, program-wide vision for mental health services is important.
  • Identify the key components of an effective mental health vision.
  • Describe how you, as program administrator, can provide effective leadership in developing and maintaining a mental health vision.
