This map shows findings from a national scan of IECMHC programs and services available to child care providers across U.S. states and territories. The scan was conducted between December 2024 and March 2026 by the Thrive Center for Children, Families, and Communities at Georgetown University, in partnership with the National Center on Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety (NCHBHS), the Office of Child Care (OCC), and the Office of Head Start (OHS).

Data were collected through surveys, in-depth interviews, and background research conducted between December 2024 and March 2026.
This map is not an exhaustive representation of IECMHC activity across the country, rather a snapshot in time. IECMHC is a dynamic, rapidly evolving field, and programs are continually developing, expanding, and changing. What exists in a state today may look different from what was in place when data were collected. The profiles shown here reflect only information that was verified with state partners during the scan period and approved for publication. They are intended to offer a helpful starting point, not a complete or definitive picture.
Where a field appears blank, it reflects information that was not obtained or could not be shared during the scan. It does not mean that a program element is absent.
Profiles are descriptive only and are not intended to evaluate or compare state programs. Child care providers are encouraged to contact the listed program directly to confirm current services and availability.
