Call for Applications

The Center of Excellence for Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (CoE for IECMHC) is pleased to announce a Call for Applications for its IECMHC Program Managers Community of Practice (CoP). This CoP is a 6-month initiative that will be comprised of up to fifteen (15) program managers that provide IECMHC services and interested in developing or enhancing their skills and knowledge in IECMHC practices. Participating organizations will gain access to organizational change experts and educational materials to help them move their IECMHC program along the IECMHC Evidence Continuum. We encourage programs managers representing programs in the early stages of implementation to apply.

By participating in the CoP, organizations will:

• Increase knowledge and skills in the following core areas:
  • Hiring, pre-service, and in-service professional development for mental health consultants
  • Navigating reflective and administrative supervision needs of consultants
  • Honing and/Expanding an IECMHC model for needs of the community
  • Providing Virtual IECMHC and hybrid IECMHC during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Developing a policy and procedure manual to meet the needs of a team.
• Have the opportunity for professional recognition. This initiative will receive local, state, and national attention through presentation(s) and/or paper(s) that will be used to disseminate successes and lessons learned;

PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Six (6) monthly group-based coaching calls:
  • Tuesday, November 10 from 3pm – 4:30pm EST
  • Tuesday, December 15 from 3pm – 4:30pm EST
  • Thursday, January 28 from 3pm – 4:30pm EST
  • Thursday, February 25 from 3pm – 4:30pm EST
  • Thursday, March 25 from 3pm – 4:30pm EST
  • Tuesday, April 27 from 3pm – 4:30pm EST
• Regular pre-assignment and action plan reporting submissions

APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY

Interested individuals are eligible for the IECMHC Program Managers CoP, if they currently serve as a program manager of an existing IECMHC consultation program. We encourage programs managers representing programs in the early stages of implementation to apply
